We all know what September means... DOVE SEASON!! At A-Plus Game Birds, we welcomed several members and guests to an outstanding opening weekend of the 2012 dove hunting season. Thank you to everyone who came out to enjoy the hunt!! This is an annual event and spaces are limited. If you missed us in 2012, please be sure to put this event on your calendar for 2013!!!

A premier Colorado pheasant hunting experience in the beautiful Eastern Colorado plains. You will feel like family after being treated to this unique pheasant preserve. It will be a hunting experience like no other. A-Plus Game Birds is a family owned and operated hunting preserve and is known for its high quality birds and professional guides. Come join us at A-Plus Game Birds for an unforgettable and affordable fun filled Upland Game Bird experience that the whole family can enjoy, whether you are a beginner, novice or experienced hunter or maybe you just need a place to train that dog or puppy.

We have more than 800 acres for ideal Upland Game Bird hunting that we can release birds into. This includes creek bottom, CRP, trees, sage and rolling hills that will challenge some of the best hunters and dogs. This year we are able to accommodate limited mobility hunters with one field that has flat easy access walking.

Start & finish your day in our warm & comfortable clubhouse. Upon request, we offer catered hot lunches Fri-Sun from 11pm-2pm for our hunters to enjoy. Or feel free to bring your own lunch and enjoy our facilities at no additional cost. Gas grill/BBQ available for use by our guests.

Other services available by appointment only include: Dog Training, Guiding, Shooting Instruction, Hunting Instruction or practice shooting on our 5-stand clay thrower. In addition to our traditional 5-stand, we offer a simulated waterfowl (duck/goose) pit hunting experience.

Our pheasant hunting preserve is one of the closest to Denver. We are located a short drive from Denver, Fort Collins, Greeley, and Denver International Airport (DIA/DEN). Memberships are available for Families, Individuals & Businesses.
